BOOKING INFORMATION
WHAT IS INCLUDED Professional tuition (ex non-painting partners), all-inclusive accommodation, published excursions, meals including wine/soft drinks, bilingual guide, minibus transportation to and from pick-up point as detailed in itinerary.
NOT INCLUDED Outward and return travel prior to pick up and after drop off (i.e. flight, train or coach journeys), bar and telephone expenses.
WHAT YOU NEED: some materials e.g. sketch books, pencils, brushes, easels if you wish. We supply boards, chairs, parasols and easels will be available. A selection of materials and stretched canvasses are available at cost price.
HOW TO PAY Please send the completed booking form (overleaf) with your deposit. The balance will be due 75 days prior to commencement of the holiday. Payments can be wired through, please ask for details. Tuscany in the Frame has been set up in accordance with the EC directive for tour operators - 90/314 Consumer Protection 1992 No 3288 Monies in Trust. Tuscany in the Frame will ensure that all monies paid over by a consumer under or in contemplation of a contract for a relevant trip are held in trust for the consumer until the contract has been fully performed or any sum of money paid by the consumer in respect of the contract has been repaid to them or has been forfeited on cancellation by the consumer.
WORKSHOP RESERVATION Before a booking can be accepted we must receive a signed booking form and the relevant deposit per person. We will then advise you (normally within 14 days) that your booking has been accepted. Cancellation charges apply as detailed below. The balance of the cost of your workshop must be paid at least 75 days before departure date. If the balance is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, retain your deposit and apply cancellation charges as set out below. Before booking your flight please confirm with us that the tour is going ahead.
DISABLILITIES Please let us know if you suffer from any disabilities, so that you can assess whether our holidays are suitable for you.
CANCELLATION CHARGES If you cancel a booking this must be done in writing or by fax. Number of days prior to start of workshop:
More than 75 days: deposit returned in full;
75 - 31 days, we will charge 30% of total holiday price;
30 - 15 days: 50% of total holiday price;
14 - 7 days: 75% of total holiday price;
7 days or less: 100% of total holiday price.
When booking is made within 75 days of departure the full amount of the holiday must be paid at the time of booking.
INSURANCE We strongly advise that all our clients take out adequate travel insurance. Please note that Tuscany in the Frame cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your luggage or personal property, nor for any other loss, damage, inconvenience, delay, illness, fatal or other injury, suffered by you as a result of making a reservation, or during your holiday.
CODE OF CONDUCT When signing the booking form you agree to abide by the decisions of your guide. If anyone commits a crime or behaves in such a way as to endanger the safety and welfare of the party we have the right to ask them to leave the holiday immediately and there will be no refund payable.
SWIMMING POOL Some of our accommodations have swimming pools (please enquire). The use of pools and of the Lake is at your own risk.
CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION BY US It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your holiday as described in the brochure as we carefully plan and organise our schedules. We do, however, reserve the right to alter an itinerary, for example, due to adverse weather, restoration work or similar conditions, or if we consider it necessary, or for any other reason and at any time. We also reserve the right under exceptional circumstances to replace a tutor or cancel a booking or a holiday if we consider it necessary, or if a minimum of 6 clients is not reached by 8 weeks before date of commencement of trip, or at any time and for any reason, although obviously we will endeavour not to do so. We will supply up-dated booking information on your chosen workshop and if the workshop cannot take place we will offer a replacement workshop or full refund . If we cancel a trip or booking the client will receive prompt and full refund of all monies paid for the holiday.
DISPUTES
This contract is governed by English law and in the unlikely event of a dispute arising that we cannot settle amicably we agree to refer the matter to arbitration under the terms of the Arbitration Act 1950.
