A warm welcome awaits you in Yorkshire (God’s own county as Yorkshire folk would say). England’s largest county boasts some of the most beautiful countryside nestling picturesque villages and hamlets, a joy to discover. Our workshop will take in a selection of well-known beauty spots such as Bolton Abbey, Burnsall, Kilnsey Crag, Ilkley Moor, Kettlewell, Aysgarth Falls to name but a few.
Renowned local artist Graeme Willson from Ilkley and Tom Wood from Hailfax will introduce you to a new painting experience in their home county. Both tutors have established themselves locally, nationally and internationally. Given time we hope to visit one of Graeme’s latest and finest works ‘The Madonna of the Moors’ at St Margaret’s Church, Ilkley, dedicated by the Archbishop of York in 2004.

As with all our tours, accommodation and meals (with wine or locally brewed beer) will be of the high standard we have set throughout all our tours. Meals will be taken in
traditional country pubs or hotels serving the finest home made cuisine. In the evening, relax and discuss your day’s work and experiences over a pint of local ale.
As always, we will endeavor to provide you with fond memories of your painting experience in Yorkshire with Tuscany in the Frame. |
